“AirChina Phoenix” Launching Mobile Airline Service Product

Enhanced Mobile Service for AirChina Phoenix Members

June 18. An enhanced mobile service product based on the mobile technology platform,
“AirChina Phoenix Mobile Service”, was announced at the Renaissance Beijing Hotel.
This is another step to provide outstanding service for AirChina customers using highly
effective, convenient and personalized mobile technology. AirChina has started to
employ mobile check-in service at Terminal 3 of the Beijing Capital International Airport.
The AirChina Phoenix Mobile Service will be formally online on June 22.

Although airline companies are all trying to cut down operation costs facing the global
economic crisis, carrying service principles of “Relaxed, Convenience, Comfortable and
Inspiring”, AirChina is continually investing large amounts of human resources, material
resources and financial resources to develop customer service products. Through
abundant customer survey, considering the special business trip characters of Phoenix
Members and satisfying Members’ requirements for mobile service, AirChina joined in a
partnership with an advanced 3G industry application technology company-SView
(SView Mobile Technologies Company) to develop a new mobile service product.
With a mobile phone supporting JAVA and access to GPRS, Phoenix Members can enjoy
this service. Now members can easily receive a flying miles statement, acquire “AirChina
Phoenix” real time information updates, and obtain an “E – Phoenix Card” which
represents membership. Besides this, members can connect to the Phoenix Telephone
Service through the Phoenix Hot Lines on their E-Phoenix Card, where special staff will
be ready to to solve their problem. Furthermore, in order to guarantee members’
security, there is a Membership Validation Process when opening the “AirChina Phoenix
Mobile Service System”. Members will input their AirChina Member Card Number and
Password to start the application, so that the members’ information safety are ensured.

In the Press Conference, the General Manager of the AirChina Marketing Department,
Zhang Chunzhi, said that, “This service launch, is the first time in the China civil aviation
industry to utilize mobile phones as communication platform to offer one-on-one
service to customers. AirChina Phoenix has started to provide our members with real
application services. We melt AirChina Phoenix’s thoughtful service principles together
with modern mobile commercial technology to offer members, an engaging user
experience. Through this mobile service, we not only achieve an effective mobile
services application, but also avoid paper waste, which aligns with our environmentally
friendly initiatives.”

Along with the development of 3G networks and mobile technology and requirement of
personalized service from AirChina customers, AirChina Phoenix Mobile Service will
continue to incrementally add services like Mobile Redemption, Mobile Shopping,
Sending Coupons, Checking Flight Information, Mobile Purchasing Ticket and other
outstanding services, which will allow members to receive instant information, more
personalized service, and will provide members with AirChina’s exemplary service..
