SView PostBox Version 1.0
The PostBox allows you to receive interactive images and text content on your mobile phone in the form of our SmartMessages. We support a broad range of handsets, listed here. This page provides some basic information about installing and using the PostBox. If you have any questions not answered below, please email us at support@sview.com.
Installing the PostBox:
When you first sign up to receive content it will likely be through a company other than SView where you are already a customer. Once you sign up you will receive a text message that contains a link that will let you download the PostBox.
Installation Steps:
- Click the link in the text message to start downloading the PostBox. (NOTE: On some phones you will need to go into the ‘Options’ menu in order to go to the site displayed on the link)
- The PostBox will now download and install. You may be prompted to allow access to the network or to approve the application for download, if asked, click ‘yes’ to complete the installation.
- Once installed you will be asked if you would like to launch the PostBox now, click yes in order to see your content!
- When you want to go back to the PostBox, just go to your phone’s folder for saved applications (Usually is something called ‘My Games’ or ‘My Stuff’).
Using the PostBox:
Inbox Screen – When you first launch the PostBox you will be taken to the inbox screen which shows you a list of the SmartMessages you have received. By selecting one and pushing the middle ‘Go’ or ‘OK’ button it will open that message.
Viewer Screen – This shows the actual smart message. While in the viewer screen, use the up and down buttons to select new links. Links will take you to other pages, call phone numbers, or take you to websites. The right and left buttons will switch pages in the message.
